Catwalk Shows The Elizabeth A Edwards fashion shows in Sheffield and at the Great Yorkshire Show in Harrogate over the past years have attracted a huge following. Elizabeth has showed a range of exclusive, innovative designs from her eco-couture collection live on the catwalk. Elizabeth's full range is split into three labels offering unique, hand-crafted, one-off designs for men, women and children, using a quirky mix of vintage, organic and local sourced materials :

  • ‘Hope’ gives new life to old, offering a range of unique, hand-crafted and re-worked designs, using recycled, vintage, Fairtrade and rescued garments,
  • ‘Glory’ uses glorious vintage, organic, and locally-sourced fabrics in a range of individually designed and beautifully constructed pieces,
  • ‘Elizabeth A Edwards Couture’ is a top end designer label offering exclusive made to measure and bespoke garments made from exquisite locally-sourced and organic cloths. Unique eco wedding gowns are also a speciality.

Elizabeth is truly inspired by the fabrics she uses, and loves to challenge the purpose for which they were originally intended by creating beautiful and individual garments from the unusual materials she has selected.

A selection of Elizabeth’s newly branded garments were shown on the catwalk at The Great Yorkshire Show, 13-15 July 2010.

Sheffield Showcase
In autumn 2009 Elizabeth was selected to showcase her eco-friendly range in Sheffield’s city centre as part of a project funded by Sheffield City Council and co-ordinated by the council in partnership with Creative Sheffield and The Source. The dynamic initiative offers a platform for local businesses and creative individuals to contribute to the improvement of the city by showcasing their wares within the window spaces. Council Leader Paul Scriven, says: "This isn't just window dressing - far from it. We want to showcase the best up and coming talent Sheffield has to offer”. A second Christmas window was displayed in December 2009.

Sheffield Retail & Fashion Week
Elizabeth was delighted to be invited to show five outfits from the eco-friendly range as part of a spectacular fashion show held at Sheffield’s controversial ‘Cheese Grater’ car park on September 9, 2009. Wayne Hemingway, style guru and co-founder of Red or Dead, was amongst the guests and expressed his approval of Elizabeth A Edwards’ designs. The show producer, Beverley of Glam Productions, said that Elizabeth's garments were “fantastic and added so much to the over all feel of the show”. You can

Art in the Gardens 2009
Following the success and popularity of the Floral ImPACT fashion shows at Art in the Gardens 2008, Elizabeth was delighted to be asked to show her range again in 2009. The fashion shows proved once again to be a highlight of the event and attracted a large crowd at all four shows. You can

T-shirt Competition We had some fantastic entries for our competition to ‘Design a T-shirt and help kids with cancer’ and after much deliberation selected Maisie Gleeson, Amber Willis, Rory Follin, Katie Harford-Hill, and Rory Shuttleworth as our winners. You can see the finished T-shirts in the childrens gallery on our clothes&shows pages or see the winners modelling their designs on the catwalk at Art in the Gardens 2009.
